Great Wine Writer

I'm keeping it simple today. I just read a really interesting piece on the NY Times website about whether wine should be or can be a family affair. It raises some interesting questions and highlights an interesting practice common in wine country across Europe - giving your children a spoonful of wine in their water with the evening meal. It serves as sort of a bonding ritual, makes the kids feel more adult and introduces them to the family business. Personally, I think it's a charming right-of-passage, but I'm sure others would disagree.
